SANTA CROCE, VENICE

Things to see and do in Santa Croce

From Palazzi to the Natural History Museum and modern and international art. Santa Croce is in the north west of Venice.

Santa Croce encompasses the port area of Venice along with an area north of San Polo and Dorsoduro and south of Cannaregio.

The most interesting sights are in the east of the district and include the churches of San Giacomo dell’Orio, San Nicola de Tolentino and San Stae. There’s also the Natural History Museum next to the Grand Canal and the Papodopoli gardens beside Piazzale Roma.
