FIRST AID POINTS
There are two first aid points – one in St Mark’s Square (beside Caffe Florian) and the other in Piazzale Roma. Both are open 8am until 8pm every day including holidays. Look for signs to Pronto Soccorso (First Aid).

SS.Giovanni and Paolo Hospital is situated in Campo SS.Giovanni e Paolo, near Fondamenta Nuove, Castello.
The nearest vaporetto stop is Ospedale or approximately 10-12 minutes walk from the Rialto bridge.

Monday to Friday from 8.00 pm to 8.00 am;
on Saturdays (and on the days before holidays) from 10:00 to 08:00 the following day;
on Sundays and public holidays from 08:00 to 08:00 the following day.
PHARMACY
Pharmacies can help you with prescriptions and advice. They may also be able to offer you drugs over the counter. If you have run out of your medication, take the empty box to the pharmacy and they should be able to help.
Some pharmacies are open 24 hours, others open continuously but in general they are open from

8.30am – 12.30pm / 4pm – 10pm
Saturday
9am to 12.00pm
