A few kilometers outside of Venice itself, Venice Marco Polo Airport is a transport hub for acess to Venice itself
ARRIVALS
The airport is all fairly self-explanitory with various machines and counters to purchase onward travel options to Venice.
For anyone arriving and traveling to Venice by boat (either Alilaguna or Water Taxi), follow the blue signs Trasporti via Acqua/Water Transport
If you’re travelling via land taxi or express bus, follow the signs outside the terminal building to the road. Buses go from the second lane.
DEPARTURES
Always leave plenty of time for your water or land journey to the airport.
At the airport, during busy times, a 2 to 2.5 hour check-in window is recommended.
